0.5 g<\/li>\n<li>Carbohydrate 4.9 g\u00a0 (of which sugars 2.9 g)<\/li>\n<li>Sodium 37 mg<\/li>\n<li>Calcium 134 mg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Woolworths Skyr is available in 700 g tubs and is (obviously) only available in Woolworths supermarkets.<\/p>\n<h1>Siggi&#8217;s Icelandic Style Skyr<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6470.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-276\" src=\"https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6470-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"siggis Icelandic style skyr\" width=\"288\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6470-288x300.jpg 288w, https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6470-768x801.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6470-624x651.jpg 624w, https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6470.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 288px) 100vw, 288px\" \/><\/a>In 2019 <a href=\"http:\/\/siggis.com\/\">American company siggi&#8217;s<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.siggis.com.au\/\">expanded into Australia<\/a>, with products apparently identical to the ones offered in the US, but manufactured in Tasmania from local ingredients.\u00a0 Siggi Hilmarsson created the company in 2004 when he left Iceland and couldn&#8217;t find a suitable substitute in America.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6471.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-278 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6471-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6471-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6471-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6471-624x468.jpg 624w, https:\/\/www.icemoonprison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_6471.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>This skyr has a smooth mouthfeel reminiscent of a creamy Greek yoghurt, despite its almost nonexistent fat content.\u00a0 It holds its shape remarkably well and leaches very little water.<\/p>\n<p>The plain version of this skyr has a powerful acidic bite.\u00a0 We are reminded of the skyr we tasted in Iceland (and other parts of Europe that it has spread to).
